Arabians at Egg and I is located on
the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Chimacum, Washington.
This is where Betty MacDonald, author of “The Egg & I”
and many other books once called home. Now
this farm is graced with beautiful Arabian mares and foals,
and so my story begins...

Last year was an exciting year for Arabians at Egg & I.
Three champion mares and fillies joined my select group
of mares: Unanimous U.S. National Sweepstakes
Yearling filly Lethyf Falconesse, and Egyptian Event
Champions HF Allure and Sunflower AR. I look
forward to many great foals from these mares.
The beautiful mare
Bint Maar Hala, the only producing U.S. based daughter
of RDM Maar Hala, finally came to Egg & I. She has
been in Winchester, California with Debby Nowak at
Abraxas Arabians, where she was bred twice with
successful embryo transfers. The first breeding to
HS Hero, resulted in the wonderful filly Miss Maar Hala. The
second breeding, to ET Crown Prince (via frozen semen),
resulted in a stunning colt, Maar Halas Prince . I am very grateful to Debby
for her wonderful help and her care of Bint Maar Hala
while she was at Abraxas Arabians. The final
addition to Arabians at Egg & I is a beautiful Rhapsody
In Black filly by Alixir. I owe many thanks to Judy Sirbasku of
Arabians Ltd., who sold me this beautiful filly.
The story of Arabians at Egg and I continues with the
breeding, foaling, raising, loving, and showing these
beautiful horses. Stay tuned for the next
chapters...
